Returns and exchanges policy

At Message Factory and OÖM Ethikwear, we produce locally in small batches.
Our policy is designed to remain fair to you while protecting the balance of our independent business.


Return Window

Items not marked as Final Sale may be returned within 10 days of delivery.

The postmark date will serve as proof of timing.

Returns may also be made directly at our Magog boutique.


Your Options

Exchange

If the size does not fit, we are happy to offer an exchange.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We cover the shipping cost of the replacement item.

This is the simplest way to find the perfect fit.


Store Credit

You may choose to receive store credit with no expiration date.

As a thank you, we add 5% to your return amount, with a minimum bonus of $10.

Store credit is issued once the item has been received and inspected.

This option allows you to retain the full value of your purchase while continuing to support local production.

If your return brings your original order below the free shipping threshold ($125), the original shipping fee will not be deducted when choosing store credit.


Refund

A refund to your original method of payment is available.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

If your return brings your order below the free shipping threshold ($125), the original shipping fee ($12 + taxes) will be deducted from your refund.

This condition does not apply if you choose store credit.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the amount to appear on your statement.


Conditions

Items must:

  • Be unworn, unwashed and unaltered

  • Have original tags attached

  • Be free of pet hair, odors or deodorant marks

We reserve the right to apply a $7.99 + tax service fee if cleaning or additional handling is required.


Return Procedure

  1. Email us at info@messagefcty.com including:

    • Your order number

    • The item being returned

    • The reason for return

  2. Carefully place the item back in its original packaging.

  3. Ship your return to:

We recommend using a tracked shipping method.
We are not responsible for lost, damaged or misdirected return parcels.


Final Sale Items

Items marked as FINAL SALE cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

Additional markdown promotions (for example, extra 20% off sale items) are considered final sale.

For hygiene reasons, underwear and accessories are final sale.


Holiday Returns

Purchases made in November and December may be returned until January 10.

  • November purchases: exchange or store credit

  • December purchases: exchange, store credit or refund

The package must be shipped before January 10.
